CenterPoint’s 2025 Christmas Campaign is going strong in support of the needs of those individuals who look to CityHope to help with some of the basic necessities we can sometimes take for granted in our own lives. CityHope not only provides councel to those seeking financial or housing advice, but they also manage the pantry at CP twice a month.
The large trough along the East wall of the Commons is pretty full, but if you have a chance, please continue to bring items such as: deodorant, razor blades, laundry detergent sheets (washer vs dryer sheets), baby wipes, paper towels, 100% wool socks, and other items along these lines.
You can drop off your gifts on Sunday between now and Dec. 31st or during the week during office hours.

CityHope’s Special Need for Volunteers: CityHope is asking for volunteers to help serve those looking for food support the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month along with drivers available to pick up food on the Fridays prior to pantry Saturdays.
If you are moved to help with this special ministry, please reach out to Jim Hochberg at nhmtnbkr@netscape.net or stop by on a pantry Saturday to let Jim know.

Family Promise week is coming back January11-18 and your help is needed. For the week, several families in transition get to experience the heart of CenterPoint by having a place to stay, meals every evening and friendly faces to talk to throughout the week.
There are so many ways you can serve and the best way to check out those opportunities is by going to the SignUpGenius link below. There will also be a table in the Commons between services Sunday 1/4 where you can learn more about Family Promise and sign up to volunteer.
In the meantime, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact Shari DeYoung at swdeyoung@comcast.net
