When we get together on Sunday mornings we have a great time making a big deal about Jesus! Both services provide a great opportunity to get a feel for who we are as a community and experience God's love for you. Here's what to expect. While clothing is required, the kind of clothing is up to you - but dress comfortably. Many are in jeans and casual shirts. There will be great worship music, Bible teaching and prayer.
Have you ever been unsure how to pray or talk to God? Most of us have! Music helps us express our thoughts and prayers to God in ways that inspire us. Our music is driven by a great band (guitars, keys, drums, vocals), each week. We are all learning what it means to follow Jesus while looking for some good news in our lives. We find this by studying the Bible together. And we're lookng to experience God's nearness to us as we pray.
If you have kids, bring them along! Your middle schooler will have a great time getting to know other teens and our leaders of the MSM (Middle School Ministry) during the 9AM service. If your kids are younger, they will have a blast at KidZone* (for birth through 5th grade at the 9am service and birth through 3 years old at the 10:45am service). During your first visit we'll need to get some basic information because the safety of the kids is very important to us. Get checked in at the KidZone Downtown registration desk on the first floor for infants through 3 year olds, the KidZone Uptown registration desk on the second floor for 4 year olds through the 5th grade, or look for the KidZone sign in The Commons to check in.
Before and after each service there's coffee in The Commons and plenty of space and time to get to know some folks and find out more about life together at CenterPoint. We hope you'll join us and let us know how we can serve you no matter where you are on your faith journey.
