Missional Communities are experienced as Community Groups and Ministry Teams. Either way, there are core elements of each Missional Community:
– Collaborative leadership. Biblical leadership is not intended to be a solo endeavor. Leaders share in responsibility, using their giftedness and skills to make disciples within their groups and teams.
– A clearly defined mission field – either by geographic area or people group. These are the people in the places where we live, work and play who will experience a life-changing relationship with Jesus as we live and share it among them together.
– A culture of Development, Nurture and Action (DNA). These groups and teams will be at their best when they are intentionally living in the rhythms and creating environments that lead to developing the character of servants, nurturing the identity of family and taking action as a part of God’s mission in our world.
If you’re looking to get involved, we want to make that as easy as possible. If you’d like a taste of community, join us on Sunday mornings at 9am in the South Wing for Launch. If you show up, we’ll help you connect!
