We love and value our students here at CenterPoint. We, at CP Students, are all about creating welcoming and supportive environments for students navigating these crazy middle school and high school years. CP Students exists to inspire, equip, and release students to live & share a life-changing relationship with Jesus.
Our Middle School Ministry at CP is actually broken down into two sub-groups known as Tribe 56 (our 5th and 6th graders) and Tribe 78 (our 7th and 8th graders). In these groups be ready for lots of fun. Crazy games. Adventures. Great Conversations. You name it. We got it.
Sunday Mornings: (September – July) Both Tribe 56 & Tribe 78 meet on Sunday mornings from 9-10:15am. We will have a time for hanging out and games, but our focus is looking at the Bible in a way that connects with the real life that students face each day in both large and small group settings. The foundation of our ministry is relationships. We have a core team of committed adult leader who pour their lives into students as they help encourage, challenge, and walk alongside the students in the challenges of early adolescence.
Wednesday Midweeks: (October – June) Every 1st Wednesday of the month, from 6:30-8:00pm, we will host Midweek for Tribe 56 & Tribe 78 at CenterPoint. This is a bonus gathering time where we get kids active and moving around the church with fun games. We enjoy snacks and get to dig into God’s word for a bit in small groups. Midweek is an awesome place for students to invite friends to who may be a little unsure of church and would like to have some fun! It’s loud and crazy and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
Events: Our goal in CP Students is to inspire, equip, and release students to live and share a life-changing relationship with Jesus. This is even seen in the events that host. Beyond Sunday mornings and our Midweek gathering times, you will notice a few events pop up onto the schedule. These events are strategically planned with a purpose in mind whether it be to continue building relationships with students in our small groups, serve our church & community, or growing deeper in our faith. These events can range from Lock-Ins to small group outings, to weekend retreats at camp.
Tuesday Evenings- High school students meet on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm at CenterPoint, September – June. The evening starts with some informal time to enjoy food, hanging out, playing some games, and getting to know each other. We also spend time looking at the Bible in small groups- experiencing how it impacts our perspectives and changes our lives. Most importantly, we want to give space for genuine and authentic relationships. Where students can be real about what they’re going through and find support and encouragement from other students and our adult volunteers.
Monthly Events- Each month there will be exciting, new, and fun events designed to help students connect with each other and with our leaders. The events range from day trips to game nights to Christmas parties to weekends at camp.”Look below at the calendar for our schedule of events and email lauren@centerpointnh.org for more details.
